Link Group Ltd. has achieved a positive result in a ballot of City of Edinburgh Council tenants in Craigmillar Castle. 130 properties will transfer with the aim to upgrade by the end of 2005. These improvements will be supported by New Housing Partnerships funding and will complement the extensive new build and renovation programmes by the Kintry Housing Partnership and others in the area. In accordance with the joint working arrangements between the organisations, Castle Rock/Lothian HA will undertake the development administration on behalf of Link. 73.8% of eligible tenants voted, 73.7% of whom were in favour of transfer.
