Link reinforces its committment to involving tenants

Link Group has reinforced its commitment to involving its customers with the launch of its new three-year Tenant Participation Strategy.

The strategy formalises the activities Link is already carrying out, or plans to undertake, to achieve its vision of developing a partnership with tenants that supports the ongoing improvement of services.

Link recognises that its tenants possess valuable skills, knowledge and experience that complement those of its staff and board members and will work to eliminate any barriers discouraging tenant involvement.

Link's Director of Housing and Technical Services, Maureen Middleton, said: "Our strategy outlines our desire to develop more modern and innovative ways to involve tenants. We especially want to hear the voices of younger people, older people and all minority groups who live within our communities.

"Tenants - collectively or individually - should be able to become involved at a level that suits them - when they have the time, or when an issue arises that they feel strongly about."
