New Home for LinkLiving's East & Midlothian Service

LinkLiving's Mid and East Lothian service, which has been providing support to vulnerable people in and around Mayfield for more than 20 years, has moved to a new office.

The service has grown considerably since it opened in 1986 with just four staff members supporting five people Today, 35 support workers provide person-centred support to 47 service users aged from 16 upwards.

The expansion of the service has meant a bigger office is now required so LinkLiving is relocating from its current home at Bogwood Court to the McSence Business Park, both in Mayfield. The new office will offer a bigger, brighter space and create the opportunity for the service to expand further. One area of growth currently being explored is the provision of support for under-16s.

Louise Richardson, manager of the LinkLiving East and Midlothian service said: "While we will be remaining close to the people we support, our new office will provide a bigger, better home for us, as well as the room for our continued growth. We look forward to continuing to provide support for those who need it in the local area."
