Residents of Oatlands in Glasgow recently had an opportunity to meet Link Group staff at an 'open day' in the local Community Centre and to see and comment on a range of floor plans, fixtures and fittings being suggested for new homes being developed for Link and Glasgow Housing Association by Bett Homes as part of a major regeneration of the area. Some 1200 flats and houses are being constructed over the next four years, 172 of which will be completed and available to rent by the end of next year. Many will be occupied by tenants transferring from their current homes which will be demolished to allow completion of the project. Linkwide's Advice Team was on hand to tell tenants about welfare and other benefits and Link Housing Association staff briefed them about tenant participation and management policies and practices. Link will also factor the owner occupied stock through Link Homes.
