Mike Tomlinson has joined Linkwide, part of the Link group, as the organisation’s first Land Acquisition Manager.
Mike has worked in local government and private house building for more than 30 years, most recently as Land Manager with CALA. He brings a wealth of expertise, which will benefit the development activity of Linkwide and its commercial subsidiary Link Homes.
“My role is to ensure that we buy the right sites in the right place at the right price. We have identified a number of Local Authority areas where there is a need for affordable housing and we will seek to buy land in these areas or enter into design and build arrangements,” said Mike.
Brenda Higgins, Director of Linkwide, said: “Mike’s background means he is bringing additional expertise to Link, particularly in the area of commercial development, and this is already proving to be very valuable.”
