Link Group Ltd. is the "parent" in the Link group of companies.
As a charitable Industrial and Provident Society and a Registered Social Landlord, it is regulated by Communities Scotland. It is also a member of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations.
Link Group is a membership organisation and has over 220 individual or corporate members.
It is governed by a voluntary board of management, which currently comprises 14 people (including two Link tenants).
Three sub-committees report to the board - Audit, Project Risk Assessment and Remunerations.
Link Group owns all of the group's assets, including its social rented stock of more than 5000 dwellings. Tenants of Link are, therefore, tenants of Link Group even though their management and maintenance services are delivered by one of its subsidiary companies, Link Housing Association.
We build or improve 100 homes each year for rent or low cost home ownership.
As well as being a major landlord, Link Group fulfils a number of "core" services to the subsidiary companies:
All of Link Group's services are provided by 39 staff members, most of whom are based at head office in Edinburgh.
Link Group is committed to investing up to £60 million to complete nearly 700 new or improved homes within the next five years.
Link Group holds a B (good) performance rating from Communities Scotland, has a silver Scotland's Health at Work (SHAW) award and has Investors In People accreditation.
