Link's vision is to be the provider of choice of a package of socially inclusive regeneration, housing and support services to a range of customers, primarily in the central belt of Scotland.
Since its formation more than 40 years ago, the Link group has grown to hold a unique position as one of the country's major providers of new and improved homes and support services. As the group has expanded, the scope and range of its services have evolved to meet the changing needs of the people who use them - houses and flats to rent or buy, supported accommodation, factoring and community regeneration.
Now, at a time of dramatic and far-reaching change in Scottish housing, the Link group of companies continues to fulfil its commitments to almost 8,000 tenants, service users, homeowners and other customers in 23 Scottish local authority areas.
As the pace of change quickens - not only in housing legislation and best practice, but in society itself - Link constantly monitors its activities and structure to ensure they are robust enough to withstand the pressures of the market place, yet responsive to the needs and aspirations of its customer base.
Link is committed to the welfare of tenants and to the principles of social justice and social inclusion.
Link has a substantial investment programme to provide funding for new developments in housing, support services and community regeneration. We currently build or improve 100 homes each year for rent or low cost home ownership.
The companies which make up the Link group are helping to develop innovative regeneration projects in partnership with local communities, including health facilities, environmental works, training schemes and financial inclusion initiatives.
Resources are also allocated to managing and maintaining existing properties to a high standard through a continuing programme of improvement and repair.
In 2006, annual turnover reached £21m and we now employ more than 330 members of staff.
